Jay White is an award-winning animator and painter living on Gabriola Island, just across the ocean from Vancouver, Canada.

 

Jay’s last film, Boar Attack, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festial, won many Best Animated Short awards at festivals internationally, and was on the Academy Award nomination shortlist for “Best Animated Short Film” in 2009. 

 

While Art Directing the first televised season of Dragon Booster, that animated TV series won a Gemini Award for Best Animated TV Series.

 

His next animated short film, The Perfect Detonator, is premiering in festivals this summer.
